Who We Are

Women's Philanthropy plays a major leadership role in the philanthropic and community engagement efforts of Shalom Austin by raising the visibility and collective force of Austin's Jewish women through educational and outreach programs, opportunities for social action, and philanthropic involvement with the Annual Campaign.

What We Do

Holiday Luncheons

Rosh Hashanah, Hanukkah, and Passover

Shalom Austin Holiday Luncheons are powered by Women's Philanthropy. Luncheons are kosher, free, and open to the Shalom Austin 60+ community. The program relies on the support of volunteers from program set-up and take down to food servers to drivers.

Hanukkah Gift Wrap

Every year, Women's Philanthropy provides Hanukkah goodies for Jewish Family Service clients. Volunteers can participate in various ways through sponsoring families, assembling baskets, and making deliveries.

Dignity Grows

Dignity Grows is a national initiative to supply menstrual and hygiene supplies to any body that needs. Women's Philanthropy is supporting Dignity Grow's efforts, locally.
